The sundae is an ice cream dessert. It typically consists of a scoop of ice cream topped with sauce or syrup, and in some cases other toppings including chopped nuts, sprinkles, whipped cream, or maraschino cherries. 聖代（Sundae，港譯新地）是一種起源於美國的冰淇淋甜點，在一份冰淇淋之上淋上果醬、糖漿、或巧克力醬等，有時再灑上些碎果仁、加上鮮奶油裝飾、灑上sprinkles、或加上馬拉斯奇諾櫻桃、草莓等。歷史上第一個有文獻記錄的聖代是在1892年4月3日製成。現時市面很多美式快餐店都有出售這種甜品。
